People who travel to South Korea need to understood how to read Busan subway map, it is not as complicated as Japanese one; but still, people easily confused over the map. Busan subway is also known as Busan metro. It was built in 1985 with seventeen stations, but now it is spread into 107 stations which are divided into 4 lines. The price of ticket is divided based on their age; children who are younger than 6 years old don’t have to pay whenever they take the subway with their parents. You don’t have to buy the ticket whenever you are taking Busan metro; because you can buy T-money which can be recharged the card after using all of your deposit. The price of T-money is also divided by age; children who are around 6 to 12 only need to pay 450 won, children who are younger than 18 years old but older than 12 years old need to pay around 900 won; older people need to pay around 1050 won. 

• How to read the line in Busan subway map?

The line is divided into four, line 1 is used by train which travel from south to the north or from Sinpyeong through Nopo-dong; it can be recognized trough is orange color along the line map. Line 2 is running from west to east; it travels Yangsan through Jangsan; you can recognize the line from its green color on the map. Line 3 is traveling from Daejeo through Suyeong; it can be recognized from its brown color. Line 4 is marked with blue line; it travels from Minam through Anpyeong. Basically, the price of ticket will depend on your distance; but you can also buy term passes that are divided into one month, seven days, and one day pass tickets. Busan subway is considered as the most common transportation among South Korean people, because it is open from 6 am to 11 pm; it is the reason why understanding Busan subway map is considered necessary among the Korean people.
