Exploring Incheon Airport

Incheon airport or Incheon International Airport (in Korean: Incheon Gukje Gonghang) is the main airport that connects international flight to South Korea. South Korea has always been known as world’s biggest ginseng producing country, but recently South Korea is getting more popular because of K-pop, korean celebrities and dramas. Incheon airport is located approximately 48 km west of Seoul metropolitan city, west of the center of Incheon city. It is built over artificial land between yeongjong and yongyu islands that was separated by shallow sea and later be reclaimed and become Jung gu, Incheon administrative district. Incheon International Airport is connected to the mainland by Yeongjong bridge. The route from Incheon International Airport to the mainland until Kimpo International Airport is named Incheon International Airport Expressway. The route makes travelling from southern regions to airports easier. Connecting Incheon International Airport to the Capital city, Seoul, is Incheon International Airport Railroad. The route ends at Seoul station (in Korean: Seoul yeok), located in downtown of Seoul. The journey will take about 43 minutes to 53 minutes, respectively for non stop express train and regular train.
